Wind River Land Management, LLC is a Wyoming-based land management and excavation company. We work with mountain homeowners, ranch owners, rural property managers, and forest landowners across Fremont County and Teton County, Wyoming.
What sets us apart is the experience we bring to every project. Our owner is a former wildland firefighter, meaning every defensible space plan, every fuels reduction project, and every forestry mulching job is informed by hands-on knowledge of how wildfire actually moves through Wyoming timber and sage. We don't just clear brush; we engineer fuel breaks, ladder-fuel removal, and survivable space around the homes and ranches we serve.
We run modern equipment, a skid steer with forestry mulcher, mini excavators, brush mowers, and snow plow attachments, built for steep, rocky, forested, and remote Wyoming terrain. From a single-day brush clearing on a Lander acreage to a 200-foot defensible space buffer around a Dubois cabin, we do the work right and we leave the land better than we found it.
